ABOUT US

Enabling the Energy Transition

At Chiltern Green Energy, we focus on the upstream development of renewable energy assets that support the evolving needs of energy-intensive industries such as data centres.

Our Mission

We are committed to supporting the transition to a lower-carbon, more resilient energy future through the development of high-quality renewable energy projects designed to meet the needs of modern UK data centres.

Our expertise includes identifying high-potential renewable development sites, managing land agreements and planning consents, assessing grid connectivity and infrastructure viability, and structuring projects for long-term commercial success.

We take a strategic view of energy generation—helping enable the supply side of the equation that modern digital infrastructure increasingly depends on.

Our Track Record

We are proud to have been part of DC01UK, one of Europe's largest data centre developments, which was sold to Equinix for a projected £3.9 billion investment value.

We have also delivered the Grounds Farm Solar Park, a 20MW solar development in Bedfordshire that was brought from early-stage opportunity through to a consented, investment-ready asset.

These projects demonstrate our ability to identify opportunities, navigate complex planning processes, and deliver successful outcomes for all stakeholders.

OUR FLAGSHIP PROJECT

DC01UK: A Defining Moment

DC01UK represents a landmark achievement in UK infrastructure development. As founders and directors of this project, we helped deliver one of Europe's largest consented data centre campuses.

The project was announced alongside the UK Government's designation of data centres as Critical National Infrastructure, receiving global media coverage and international recognition.

Following its sale to NASDAQ-listed Equinix for a projected £3.9 billion investment, DC01UK stands as a testament to what can be achieved through local ingenuity, strategic vision, and determined execution.
